If you’re reading this, it’s possible that you are newly engaged with a fast wedding date approaching and hoping to just be married without breaking the bank. We are here for you! Here is our best advice for planning a wedding fast and inexpensively!

The first thing we advise is to keep your guest list small. This will then allow for less food, less space, etc. This will help you stay within your budget instantly! Of course include family and close friends, but make the cuts where they are needed and make sure that everyone on your guest list is realistically essential.

A trend we have been seeing in the wedding world that we are LOVING is outdoor weddings! This is a sure way to cut the price of an indoor wedding venue. Another option is to have your wedding inside of your family or friends home! This creates an intimate and cozy wedding vibe while not having to worry about the price of the venue.

Another thing to consider when looking at your budget and quickly planning your wedding is the food! Catering can get extremely pricey, especially depending on how many guests you have. Choosing a family owned restaurant is always going to be a cheaper option! You can also make your own food for the wedding, with the help of your entrusted family and friends! Having a trusted wedding guest(s) prepare the food for you is inexpensive, trustworthy, and could be a great wedding gift request!

One of the most, unknowingly, expensive parts of a wedding is the flowers! But do not worry…there are options! Going minimal on the flowers is a sure way to stay within your budget. Of course flowers are a necessary part of your wedding, but brainstorm with changing some of the decor from flowers to DIY table arrangements, decor throughout the venue, etc. Pinterest will be your best friend here :)

Our last piece of advice is to create your own invitations! This is not only an inexpensive option, but allows for you to make them exactly how you want them while adding your own personal touch. Another option is to find a family member or friend who can calligraphy your wedding invitations for a much lower price than if you ordered them!

Whatever the circumstances are in your wedding planning process, remember that ultimately you are marrying the love of your life….and that’s what’s most important on your wedding day! Don’t let the expenses or the tedious parts of planning overshadow the fact that this day is all about you and your partner…and it can be exactly what you’ve dreamt of no matter what! We hope to see you soon to find that dream gown!
