For lots of brides, wedding dress boutiques can be intimidating places. Whether they don’t like shopping, aren’t sure what they want, or just feel pressure to have the “perfect” wedding gown, it can make a fun experience scary. We hate that! We also hate that plus size brides think that finding a wedding gown will be an uncomfortable/not fun experience. We believe every woman should feel beautiful on her big day, and it is our job to create an environment that makes everyone feel comfortable and happy.

Boutiques also have a bad rep for not having an inclusive amount of sizes. Plus size brides typically get the shaft in that department. We would love to have every single dress in a run of sizes, but can you imagine how big the store would have to be? It’d basically be a warehouse! Since that won’t work, we order just one or two of each gown in a variety of sizes. We have gowns in stock from size 8, up to size 32. This ensures that every bride, including plus size brides, can try on beautiful gowns.

Most designers offer extended sizing, and in addition we are super stoked to offer Essense of Australia’s Every Body Every Bride program, with sizes available up to a 36. Not only are these gowns beautiful, but they are constructed to offer the best fit available. This means that EVERY bride can feel her best on her big day. And we think that’s a pretty great thing.
