How did he propose?

We had a week long trip to Colorado planned for early May to attend a wedding. We flew into Denver and then we drove to Breckenridge where we were going to spend a couple nights in a cute chalet with a gorgeous mountain view. The second day we were going to go hiking. We got our stuff all packed and headed out. When we got to the trail it was closed, but there was a trail beside it. Mitch didn’t want to go on that one, so he found another trail, which was close to where we were, and when we got there we couldn’t find the trail head. He’s starting to get really frustrated at this point, and I couldn’t understand why because it was just a hike right? SO WRONG. Anyways, he says he’s found another one with a nice view, so we get to this one and end up having to drive through snow to get to the trail head. We get through it and it was GORGEOUS! We hiked for about an hour or so, through a little knee-deep snow, and it was starting to get a little cold. Minding my own business, I was taking pictures of the views and just as I started to walk to the car he reaches out and grabs my hand. He gets down on one knee and through the tears but without hesitation I said the happiest YES of my life!

-Tell us about your venue and why you chose it:

We chose the Hunter Art Museum!

-What was your favorite and least favorite part about the wedding planning process?

My favorite part was picking my dress! You guys made it such a wonderful experience! My least favorite part was the stressful planning! My phone was blowing up with messages about small things that I didn’t really care about. (I was a very easy, didn’t really care bride!)

-Any advice for other brides planning their big day?

Half the things that are “so important” you won’t even see so don’t stress! Also, the wedding reception goes so fast so just have fun!

-What was your favorite part about your wedding day?

My favorite part of my wedding day was getting to see all of our friends in one place and enjoy their company for a night!
